THE CZECH LINDEN TREE
Coming soon...
The "Czech linden tree" is the story of Gerlinde Jaksch, who lives in seclusion with her mother at the age of almost forty and, after a failed suicide attempt, indulges in uncontrolled eating and drinking
On a trip to the Czech Republique, the "old homeland" of her mother, who was expelled from there in 1946, she discovers an unusual gift that literally gives her wings. The long-established behavioral pattern of a refugee child that has shaped her so far, is changing. New horizons and acquaintances, even a love affair, are opening up.
AMREI MEIRER
and the Russian Rosinas
Amrei Meirer is the novel of a woman in conflict, who has fled her homeland, but yet remains entangled in her conflicts.

ABOUT CHRISTINE
Christine Süß was born in Ludwigsburg in 1956 and studied Slavic and German studies at the FU Berlin after graduating from high school.
After university, she initially worked as a translator, reviewer and editor for Russian literature, in particular for the most important works by Nina Berberova.
“I learned a lot from translating, but I didn't want to stay there, I didn't want to keep myself occupied with “second-hand” life. That's why I added an additional degree in business administration and spent many years organizing meetings between people from different countries and continents for a local municipality: from kindergartens, schools and universities to senior citizens' associations, meetings between musicians, artists and athletes, teachers and craftspeople and local politicians."
I started working with Amrei Meirer in 2002, after the accidental death of my son. Writing originally only served to distract me from my grief.”
